Our Project

Dylan and I decided to move back to West Wales when our daughter Amber was small. Something called us to the green spaces of our childhoods and the possibility of creating something beautiful and sustainable here.

After several years of traveling and dreaming, we began building under the innovative One Planet Development policy on a 4 acre field of the family farm. Unique to Wales, this policy aims to be a showcase of low carbon building and living. We are committed to producing the majority of our food and energy and creating land based businesses to support us as well as the local community. The land is tended with care through permaculture principles, without any chemical inputs. Hares live in our meadows, finches flock where we have let the wild in and dragonflies use our track as a flight path. Life on the land feels alive as we find our place amongst the trees, birds and creatures who share this corner with us.

Being part of a pioneer movement is exciting and feels like a positive step in the current climate of environmental crisis. Seeing Amber and Sol covered in mud, climbing trees and making dens in the willows - that’s medicine for the soul too.
